The great API myth
Most recruiters will change their CRM in the belief they have chosen the right CRM for their business that fully supports them because they have bought into what the salesperson has shown/presented to them.
One of the most misleading things that CRM vendors do is suggest that their API is open and, in some way, fully working and unrestricted.
When I can tell you that some of the biggest names in the sector are not, for example.
One Vendor can't give us the street name/postcode, which affects Google for Jobs optimisation.
Another CRM vendor can't give us the town/city, which affects Google for Jobs optimisation.
Another CRM vendor can't give support for their API unless you pay $200 per hour for them to answer questions.
Another CRM vendor charges you to send data up and down their API.
All of these vendors will tell the client your website vendor will be able to integrate with us because we have an API and leave these essential bits out.
